Hello everyone and welcome to my July dividend income post. I’ve seen a few posts from fellow dividend investors and they had great month, I will try and continue that trend 🙂 July was good to me on the work front my job thankfully wasn’t affected by the government cuts. For the first time in years I have been taking some time off this summer, I’ve been taking Monday’s and Friday’s off and I’m loving the long weekends.

Ok back to investing lol, my portfolio continued to turn out good income this month my Canadian telecoms led the way. Ten stocks paid me this month in two of my accounts. I received a total of $671.30 this month, here is the income per account:

  • TFSA $375.40
  • RRSP $295.90

If you’re new to my site my TFSA has all Canadian stocks and my RRSP is made up of one Canadian stock and the rest US stocks. That being said the majority of the dividend income in my RRSP is in US dollars. For simplicity for the site I just mark all the income as Canadian.
