Welcome to my April dividend post. The markets might be in turmoil and I might be down by a few thousand bucks from a portfolio standpoint but the dividends continue to roll in. Speaking of the markets I’m not to concerned with what’s going on, I am currently invested in quality stocks and I’m looking to be able to buy at these lower prices.
I received dividend payments from 10 stocks from two of my investment accounts. I received a total of $646.42 this month. The income per account is as follows:
- TFSA $368.58
- RRSP $277.84
If you’re new to my site my TFSA has all Canadian stocks and my RRSP is made up of one Canadian stock and the rest US stocks. That being said the majority of the dividend income in my RRSP is in US dollars. For simplicity for the site I just mark is Canadian.
