Merry Christmas From Enbridge and BMO

Hi everyone today I thought I would share with you a couple of dividend raises I received a little while ago, but hadn’t had a chance to share with you.

The first raise I received was from Enbridge back on Nov 29th, 2017. Enbridge announced a 10% increase to their dividend which would raise the dividend to $0.671 from $0.61. This is the 5th increase (3rd this year) I have received from Enbridge since I became a shareholder.

Income

I currently own 145 shares and with this announcement my quarterly income will increase $8.84, annually it goes up $35.36.

Sounds pretty good to me I didn’t have to do anything to earn that $35.36.

The second raise I received came on Dec 5th from Bank of Montreal. This raise came in like clock work as BMO for the past few years has been raising their dividend every other quarter.

So on Dec 5th when BMO announced their quarterly earnings they also announced that they were going to raise the dividend to $0.93 from $0.90. This is the 7th increase I have received from the bank since becoming a shareholder back in 2014.

Income

I currently own 71 shares of the bank and with this announcement my quarterly income will increase by $2.13, annually I will receive an extra $8.52.

Congrats to any other shareholders out there that received these increases. I believe that these will be my final increases of 2017. It has been another successful year for me for receiving raises, hope it was for all of you as well.

Thanks everyone have a great day. I will be back for a new post on Thursday.

Take care

Matthew
