Dividend Increase #20 of 2020

Hi everyone, back on September 23rd Fortis provided shareholders and the world with an update on their five year capital program. In the update it announced that the company was going to be raising it’s dividend for a 47th consecutive year. The raise is 5.8% and the quarterly payout is now $0.505 up from $0.477.

I currently own 265 shares in two accounts TFSA (53) & RRSP (212) with this raise my forward dividend income will increase by $29.68. My RRSP income will grow by $23.76 and for my TFSA account $5.92.
