Hey everyone, I’m a little slow in sharing this but I figured you would prefer to read my dividend income and stock purchase posts before a dividend increase post. Back on March 3rd just hours after I bought some shares the Board of Directors of Aecon (ticker: ARE) announced a 10% raise to its dividend. This is the eight raise in nine years for the company.
Aecon pays a quarterly dividend with the raise it is now $0.16 per share up from $0.145. I currently own 40 shares of the stock and with the raise my income will increase quarterly by $0.60 and annually by $2.40.
