Hello everyone, today I thought I would share another dividend raise that I received with you. On January 14th Realty Income Corp decided to reward it’s shareholders with a dividend raise. This raise is the 105th since the company began trading on the stock market in 1994. If you hold Realty Income in your portfolio then you know that we can probably expect a few more raises this year alone, last year we received five.
This increase was an increase of 2.2% and the monthly dividend is now $0.2325 up from $0.2275 begin with the payment in February. I currently own 47 shares (wish I had more) with this announcement my monthly income increases by $0.24 and annually by $2.88, not much but I will take what I can get and like I mentioned above I expect more raises in the year.
Portfolio Raises in 2020
Stock | Old Dividend | New Dividend | Forward Income |
Canadian Utilities | $0.4227 | $0.4354 | $7.92 |
Realty Income Corp | $0.2275 | $0.2325 | $2.88 |
Total | $10.80 |
If you own Realty Income congratulations on the raise fellow shareholders.
Come back on Thursday as I share with you my first stock purchase of the new year.
Thanks
Matthew

Realty Income was my first raise of 2020, I think they also held that crown for 2019 as well. Great company, but it seems rather expensive right now. I’d love to see that current yield back up above 4% so <$70 share price so I can start reinvesting my dividends again. Great business and love that they call themselves the Monthly Dividend Company.

Hey JC congrats on the raise. It is a little expensive I agree with you maybe it can fallback a bit in the coming months.
